Our expertise for your sustainable future

Sustainability requires expert knowledge, experience and the correct methods. Our interdisciplinary team supports companies, municipalities and research projects in strategically embedding environmental, social, and economic responsibility. Whether it is a sustainability strategy, reporting, supply chain management or municipal transformation – we support you as expert, collaborative and creative partners.

Sustainable Companies

Embedding sustainability.

To remain future-proof, companies and organizations today are more than ever required to operate sustainably. Companies must now take ecological and social responsibility for their business activities, including the supply chain, as it’s no longer a ‘nice to have’ but a requirement to stay competitive in the future.

corsus advises you on your journey toward greater sustainability in your company.

Thanks to our extensive range of methods, we can provide advisory support in the development, implementation, and execution of sustainability strategies. We can create sustainability reports in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs (VSME), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and the German Sustainability Code (DNK). Additionally, we conduct life cycle assessments (LCAs), carbon footprints, and sustainability analyses and evaluations at both product and company levels. We also assess impacts on biodiversity, develop Economy for the Common Good balance sheets, and advise on human rights due diligence in supply chains.

Sustainable Municipalities

Strategies für sustainability in municipalities and politics.

Municipalities can play a key role in the debate on socio-ecological transformations, as they represent the core of our society. They act as both economic actors and authors of the normative framework. Importantly, the needs and potential of companies, organisations, associations and citizens converge in local communities and regions. If municipalities actively embrace their role, new approaches for societal transformation will be developed and regional “critical potential” for a just and interconnected world will be unlocked.

corsus advises municipalities, districts, and municipal companies on identifying essential sustainability aspects and integrating the UN Sustainable Development Goals into policy and administration.

corsus supports these in identifying leverage points, defining strategic priorities, and addressing central aspects of sustainable municipal and urban development. corsus designs and facilitates dialogue with key municipal stakeholders and advises political representatives and the administration of municipalities and districts. This strategic direction guides corsus in its monitoring processes and reporting on sustainability issues at local and district level.

Research for Sustainability

Research for practical application.

corsus is committed to apply the latest research findings to its consultancy services for companies, municipalities and the political sector. With this in mind, we are actively involved in research projects and have established our own division, corsus research. Our research focuses on assessing sustainability from environmental, social and economic perspectives, on sustainable food systems, and on resilient communities.
