Anke Butscher (PhD)
Anke Butscher is managing partner of corsus and our expert for the implementation of sustainability at the level of organisations (local authorities, administration, companies, non-governmental organisations) and in supply chains. She is a social and economic scientist and wrote her doctoral thesis on corruption, clientelism and elite transformation in Latin America. She moderates national and municipal sustainability projects, develops recommendations for socially acceptable supply chains and links risk minimisation and corruption prevention.

Ulrike Eberle (PhD)
Ulrike is managing partner and our expert for sustainability strategies, sustainable product development and sustainability assessment, especially in the food sector. She is a biologist and chemist and holds a doctorate in nutritional sciences. She leads large transdisciplinary research projects and advises the European Commission, national policy makers, many companies and non-governmental organisations. She also holds a lectureship on sustainable nutrition at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg.

Senior Consultant
Paul Appel
Paul Appel is a Senior Consultant and is currently working on his PhD in physics. He combines scientific methods with strong programming skills to create tools that analyse complex data and transform it into information suitable for everyday use. These tools enable users to understand challenging content more easily and make informed decisions based on data. Paul’s work increases the accessibility and applicability of scientific data in professional and everyday contexts. He develops software tools for corsus, including as part of the CLIF project. There he is working on the Foods Impacts Toolkit (FIT), an online interface for the sustainability assessment of food.

Talito Ferreira Amado
Talita Amado is Senior Consultant and holds a PhD in Natural Resources Conservation. She advises on how to minimize the impact of processes on the environment, especially biodiversity. As a data specialist and expert on complex relationships between land-use systems and biodiversity, she is involved in projects on sustainable food systems at corsus.

Krishan Gairola is a senior consultant and expert in sustainability strategies at the municipal level. As an engineer for energy and environmental technology with many years of consulting experience in the municipal context, he combines technical knowledge with a strong ability to design processes and strategies. Nynke is a consultant at corsus. She studied Community Planning and Cultural Understanding and Urban Planning at the Universities of Tromso in Norway and Tours in France. Julian Quandt is senior consultant and expert for ecological and climate accounting. Verena Timmer (PhD)
Verena Timmer is a Senior Consultant at corsus. She supports companies in formulating sustainability strategies, implementing sustainability management systems, making sustainability measurable at company and product level and conducting stakeholder analyses. In her PhD at the University of Witten/Herdecke, she is working on topics related to routine research and algorithms. Since 2018, she has been teaching the module “Sustainability as a Change Process” at Münster University of Applied Sciences, linking her own research interests and also inspiring her students for the interplay between the topics of sustainability, change management and corporate culture. Verena Timmer is an oecotrophologist and studied the Master’s degree in “Sustainable Food and Service Management” at Münster University of Applied Sciences.

As a marketing strategist and positioning expert, Verena Voges primarily advises service companies. She shows companies how to position themselves clearly in the market, build a strong brand and bring structure to marketing. Hannah Heinevetter
Hannah Heinevetter is a freelancer and expert in the field of environment and sustainability. She holds a degree in business administration and a master’s degree in environment & education and advises organizations, municipalities and companies. Ms. Heinevetter accompanies municipalities in the integration of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, supports educational institutions in the development of educational concepts (in the sense of Education for Sustainable Development) and moderates events for public institutions in the sustainability discourse. In addition to concept development and moderation, Ms. Heinevetter also offers project management and implementation support. She carries out projects entrusted to her with inventiveness and passion for the cause.

Julia Pfinder
Julia Pfinder accompanies processes of change, strategy and cooperation in the context of sustainable development and transformation, opportunity and educational equity. As a systemic organizational consultant (SySt®), she supports the development of clear visions and the cooperative development and successful implementation of strategies with the participation of various stakeholders. For example, she has supported the three-year city-wide process to embed Education for Sustainable Development for the City of Munich. Through a sensible structuring of complex participation processes and her lively, activating and goal-oriented moderation, she contributes in public events and in internal work processes to the success of the cooperation in elaboration and discourse and an effective implementation. With corsus, she has supported e.g. Aschaffenburg in its sustainability reporting and the German Alpine Club in the development of its climate protection concept.
Lenja Rother
Lenja Rother works under the label PAPERBOATS as a freelance systemic coach and management consultant with a focus on the topic of “value-based management”.
The studied engineer and certified common good consultant supports process-oriented the conscious design of fields of action in the sense of one’s own values and possibilities. She thinks herself into the most diverse contexts and knows from her own experience about the daily challenges in medium-sized technology companies as well as in corporations, in honorary offices or in cultural projects.

Birte Kruse-Gobrecht
Birte Kruse-Gobrecht has been working as a certified organisational consultant and freelance coach since 2011, specialising in change and network management, leadership and communication. As a qualified lawyer, mediator and strategic consultant, she advises local authorities, organisations and stakeholders in politics and business on change processes as well as on the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and personnel development geared towards equal opportunities and life phases.
In a time of constant change and massive social and geopolitical transformation, conventions and traditions are being called into question and we are challenged to break new ground.
As a former full-time mayor, Birte Kruse-Gobrecht has extensive practical knowledge, which she brings to bear in advising local authorities, organisations and leaders. She provides practical and solution-orientated impulses for sustainable innovation as well as sound advice for development and strategy processes in order to promote socio-ecological change.
