The conference proceedings of the 12th International Food LCA Conference are available online. The conference, which this year had the motto “Towards sustainable agri-food systems”, took place virtually for the first time due to the corona pandemic.

With more than 300 participants from all over the world, the online presence of the 12th International Food LCA Conference ended yesterday with the closing event. Due to the Corona pandemic, the conference, which this year had the motto “Towards sustainable agri-food systems”, took place virtually for the first time.
First virtual International Food LCA Conference 2020 opened
On 13.10.2020 the first virtual Food LCA conference was opened by Dr. Sergiy Smetana (Chair of the conference), Dr. Ulrike Eberle (Chair of the Scientific Committee and Co-Chair of the conference) and Dr. Ulrike Bos (Co-Chair of the conference).
