Against rollback and crisis mode: The Transformation Congress of the German Sustainability Award – #DNP25

The German Sustainability Award 2025 (#DNP25) sends a powerful signal against rollback tendencies and crisis mode: as a platform, the congress brings together leading players from business, politics, science and civil society to actively shape the urgently needed socio-ecological transformation. Dr Ulrike Eberle and Dr Anke Butscher were members of the jury and will be attending the congress in Düsseldorf on 4 and 5 December.

This year, the congress, award ceremonies and networking events will merge into an integrated format – compact and practical. 100 companies will present their solutions for the key areas of economic transformation. In MasterClasses and TransMissions, participants will experience best practices, innovative approaches and strategic impulses for implementing sustainability in their core business. With 150 high-profile speakers, #DNP25 offers a wide variety of perspectives on an urgently needed transformation. Participants include WTO Director-General Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, EU Environment Commissioner Jessika Roswall, climate researchers Prof. Johan Rockström and Prof. Mojib Latif, sustainability author Prof. Maja Göpel, and climate activists Luisa Neubauer and Vanessa Nakate.

Once again this year, Dr Ulrike Eberle and Dr Anke Butscher, managing directors of corsus, were members of the jury for the DNP. Dr Ulrike Eberle contributed her expertise to the jury for the company award and to the expert juries for the product award in the categories of climate, nature and resources, while Dr Anke Butscher contributed to the expert juries for society and value chain.
