Biodiversity in companies: Coaching at the Regional Biodiversity Alliances
The regional DIHK/IHK Biodiversity Alliances have brought together companies and organisations that are actively involved in the protection of biodiversity. corsus accompanies local alliance meetings and cross-regional digital meetings with various coaching sessions on the topic, for example on the ‘management of biodiversity’, the ‘calculation of the biodiversity footprint’ or the ‘communication of biodiversity (internal and/or external)’. The next training will take place on 3 September 2026 in Leer (East Frisia) at the first anniversary of the Alliance. The focus of Dr. Ulrike Eberle, who is leading the workshop as part of the Alliance Meeting, is on biodiversity management and supply chains.
Supply chains are being considered, as many companies are currently still focusing on very diverse and welcome measures to promote biodiversity on site. However, for most companies, the main impacts on biodiversity are located in the supply chains. At the same time, there is also the greatest potential here to promote and protect biodiversity. The workshop for the companies of the regional alliance in Leer focuses on starting points and concrete instruments to identify, analyze and manage their own risks in the supply chain. It is about systematically integrating biodiversity into business processes and corporate strategy. The workshops are free of charge for companies of the regional alliances and the alliances are happy to welcome further member companies.
corsus accompanies you in identifying opportunities and risks associated with the loss of biodiversity for your business activities, products and supply chains and, together with you, develops strategies to address them.
