corsus experts once again on the jury of the German Sustainability Award

The managing partners of corsus – corporate sustainability GmbH, Anke Butscher and Ulrike Eberle, have once again been appointed to the jury of the German Sustainability Award (GSA). They bring their extensive expertise to bear in selecting the award winners. The DNP is the largest award for ecological and social commitment in Europe and honours companies, products and initiatives that exemplify sustainable transformation.

Dr Ulrike Eberle is involved in the corporate award and in the expert juries for the product award in the categories of climate, nature and resources. Dr Anke Butscher contributes her experience in the categories of society and value chain. Both are experienced experts and advise companies, municipalities and organisations on the strategic and structural implementation of sustainability. For many years, they have been involved in the evaluation of products, forward-looking innovations and responsible supply chains, including through carbon footprinting, life cycle assessments and common good balance sheets.

‘The diversity and quality of the concepts submitted show that sustainability is no longer a niche topic, but a driving force for economic and social transformation,’ explains Dr Anke Butscher. ‘We are delighted to be working with the other judges to provide impetus and recognise those who are bringing about change with courage, innovation and vision,’ adds Dr Ulrike Eberle.
With their commitment, the corsus managing directors support the GSA in raising awareness of beacons of sustainable development. The award provides impetus for business and politics, creates platforms for exchange and cooperation, and inspires companies, local authorities and civil society to pursue their own sustainable paths.
This year, once again, the focus is on numerous applications that show how sustainability can be implemented in concrete terms – from resource-saving product innovations and fair supply chains to holistic corporate strategies. With their commitment to the jury, Dr Anke Butscher and Dr Ulrike Eberle ensure that the most convincing approaches receive the attention they deserve.
