On June 11, 2026, the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) released the long-awaited Version 2.0 of its standard for science-based climate targets. The revised version places a stronger focus on the implementation of these targets, requiring short-term target cycles, concrete implementation steps, governance, annual progress reporting, and accountability for emissions that have not yet been avoided. corsus supports the implementation of the standard and the development of climate transition plans, which are also relevant for companies subject to CSRD reporting obligations.
