On 5 February 2025, Talita Amado from corsus participated at the Policy and Research Roundtable Dialogue on Integrated Climate-Nutrition Action. The pivotal roundtable event was co-hosted by FAO and the Government of France, bringing together policymakers, researchers, and global stakeholders to address two of the most pressing challenges of our time: climate change and malnutrition.
corsus supported the municipality of Sylt in the first half of 2024 with the development of a mission statement for the municipal administration. The assignment included the moderation of workshops, the involvement of local politicians and administration and support in the development of the Sylt and community-specific focal points.
In cooperation with the four districts on the west coast of Schleswig-Holstein – Nordfriesland, Dithmarschen, Steinburg and Pinneberg, business development organisations, chambers of industry and commerce and companies, corsus has developed a future concept for sustainable economic activity in the region. Support for regional companies is of central importance here.
In a workshop, corsus discussed current developments and the legal perspective on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the German Supply Chain Duty of Care Act (LkSG) with the renowned lawyer Roda Verheyen from Hamburg.
corsus conceptualised and moderated two events for and with the ‘Engagement and Participation’ team of the Central Services Department of the City of Flensburg as part of the ‘Resident Participation Training Series’ project.
corsus was invited to the Hamburg Sustainability Conference in October to discuss the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
corsus congratulates Flensburg on winning the ‘Newcomer’ special prize in the Kommune bewegt Welt competition! corsus has intensively supported the development process of the ‘Flensburg 2030+’ urban development strategy.
On 19 September 2024, the Hamburg Sustainable Procurement Project Day took place for the first time with the aim of highlighting practical experiences and projects and networking buyers in and around the Hanseatic city. corsus contributed a presentation focussing on the strategic implementation of sustainable procurement.
