Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

Measuring environmental impacts.

If you are keen to design your products and processes in an eco-friendlier manner, and you wish to know about essential and most important focal points, conducting a Life Cycle Assessment is exactly what you need. The foundation is the Life Cycle Assessment ISO 14040/44. We investigate the ecological footprint of your products and services while advising you in conducting an inhouse Life Cycle Assessment.

  • We assist you in collecting necessary primary data while working with recognized databases.
  • If required, we can create your Life Cycle Assessment in accordance with the European Commission’s Environmental Footprintings (EF) requirements.
  • We assist you in carrying out Life Cycle Assessments in-house.

Life Cycle Assessments were developed to enable the comparison of systems providing the same benefit. These allow you to quantify environmental impacts and to help identifying levers for optimization.

At corsus, we combine diverse project experiences in methodological innovation with Dr. Ulrike Eberle’s long-standing expertise and membership in the Scientific Committee of the International Food LCA Conference. This ensures the most up-to-date methodological application. Through our research projects, we have also developed expert knowledge of all land-use processes. For instance, corsus includes the impact category of biodiversity in Life Cycle Assessments. Additional significant environmental impact categories are Klimabilanzen
change, water scarcity, eutrophication and toxicity. We assure you that we look well beyond the scope of a Life Cycle Assessment and take additional sustainability impacts into account.
